Here are a few of my favorite pastimes and diversions. (note: page not well maintained - sorry for ancient broken links)

• Yahoo has Climbing Resources on the Web well covered but better to go to the Rock Climbers themselves ... its Rock and Road! The Mountain Zone is a great online magazine about all aspects of living and playing high. And, hey, try this Virtual Climb!

  While you are at it you might want to try Caving with the NSS, virtual caving (need Quicktime) or even Virtual Cavediving..

• Hard to choose from among the FANTASTIC Bicycling resources available. The Potomac Peddler site is a must for riders local to DC. The Virtual Breakaway maintains up-to-date race results and the professional poop among other things. And Bicycle Guide has a superb magazine site, complete with reviews, features and all you'd expect.

• GNN is a good starting point for Adventure Travel information. But wouldn't it be great to have a Universal Packing List to help prepare for that trip to Nepal? Read the best adventure travel journal on-line. If you travel alot you'll want to know about Hospitality Exchange.

• For funny, furry, feline friends. In fact, check out the Internet Pet Guide. And you might want to read a draft version of our own Hummel Meets the Mountain! Or get your own computer pet cat.

• All about, the one, the only, the great BRUCE (Springsteen that is) with MANY more links and images of all his Album Covers.
  
  
• Harness racing is a real trip; visit the USTA's web site to learn about the sport and for the latest in Racing news and results. Castleton Farms also has an informative site w/this seasons leaders. The Cyberstable wais an internet based partnership for the 'rest of us'. We even had a filly in the Breeders Crown! And we have links to other fine sites.
  
  
• How to make and send Greeting Cards on the Web.
