World Best's 100 point excellence checklistUse of Tables
Direct Search and Virtual Acquisition Shelf are incredible resources and note the table use
WebDeveloper.com, an online web development journal, focuses on basic table usage; note its opening page using a table structure, navigation box on the left. Then the table use that does this is presented with many good examples:
--Cineville - innovative table use, simulates graphics without size. --Denizen - simple use of tables, backgrounds in cells. --SearchEngine Watch - uses a table for its central organization /navigation structure. --Science Magazine good use of tables for Table of Contents; also note width issue. --C.P. Designing Ways - simple tables for columnar presentation. --Best Places --Nvision - different colored columns. --and see Smartwebby for some interesting table tips and tricks. Frames
